About Receipts
Our ambition is to disrupt expenses, loyalty, retail, insurance and everyday payment transactions. Receipts is a B2B infrastructure provider to Financial Services providing digital receipts, card linkage and tap to identify. We are a tech and product-led scale-up with a strong and dynamic team, investors, rapidly going partner and client base.
We are looking for a highly experienced senior architect and developer to join us in our journey as our Head of Engineering.
HEAD OF ENGINEERING
Roles and Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Lead the design and development of complex software systems, ensuring architectural integrity and scalability.
Coding and Development: Write high-quality code, review code from team members, and ensure adherence to best practices.
System Architecture: Develop and maintain system architecture, including making decisions on technologies and frameworks to be used.
Problem-solving: Address technical challenges and troubleshoot software issues effectively.
Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within projects.
Mentoring and Team Guidance: Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders in planning, timeline estimation, and resource allocation.
Quality Assurance: Oversee testing procedures to ensure software quality and reliability.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software architecture and design decisions.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
Agile Practices: Implement and advocate for agile methodologies in software development processes.
Performance Optimization: Optimize software for performance efficiency and scalability.
Roles and Responsibilities
Extensive experience in software development spanning multiple years.
Strong background and experience in back-end development the majority of the Receipts platform.
Excellent track record and experience with high technical competence
Fluent in Norwegian and English
Computer science background
Good social and communication skills
Eager to learn about new trends and technologies
Proactive and responsible team player that enjoys challenging themselves
Other useful skills - Java developer, Agile Methodology (Scrum), data and analytics and financial services a unique advantage
